About Us

Moldova Vision was originally established in 2006 by a group of Irish volunteers who wanted to help support rural communities in Moldova to develop social services. Over time the group expanded to include many Moldova nationals living in Ireland and an Association for the Moldova Community was established.

In January 2010, Moldova Vision and the Association merged; with a view to supporting the Moldovan Diaspora in Ireland and also supporting development at home. The new group is made up of Irish and Moldova nationals based in Ireland and welcomes all those with an interest in Moldova to become members and join in our activities.

Moldova Vision now organizes events for the Moldovan community in Ireland, including Martisor Festival, Annual Christmas Party, Celebration of Independence Day (August), International Children's Day (June).
Since September 2009, we have supported the Moldovan Embassy in London to provide a consular service in Dublin once a month for Moldovan nationals living in Ireland.

We are a small membership and volunteer based group and would love to hear from you if you have ideas for projects or would like to get involved. Keep an eye on this blog for upcoming events and meetings.
